The 3rd AGM took place on 22-23 June 2000 in Paris, France, and was focused on the economic relations between Europe and Russia. The forum brought together over 200 delegates from 23 OSCE member-states. It was attended by the French Foreign Trade Minister Mr. Francois Huward, the Russian Minister of Economic Developmet Mr. Gref, (by correspondence), Deputy Chairman of the Russian Council of the Federation Mr. V. Platonov, Chairman of GdF Mr. Guadonnaix, Director of the World Energy Council Mr. K. Brendow, Vice-President of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson Mr. Jenkins etc.
In order to broaden the platform for voicing the positions of private sector, the AGM decided on opening its door to the medium and small businesses. The AGM adopted a number of related amendments to the Articles of Association. Dr. Tessen von Heydebreck, Member of the Board Deutsche Bank AG, was elected EBC Vice-President having replaced the retired Dr. G. Krupp.
