The 1st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the EBC was held on 11-12 June 1998. in Forte Village Resort, Sardinia. The forum brought together representatives of 64 companies and organisations from 22 OSCE member-states. Integration of East – and Westeuropean economies, the prospects of the energy sector in the OSCE area were discussed, the stratefic priorities of the EBC development were fixed and its statutory bodies were set up. The key statements were made by the EBC President and Vice-President, by Mr. Ferrari, SNAM Chairman, by Mr.De Adda, Vice-President ENI, by Mr. Fahrholz, Member of the Board Deutsche Bank AG, Mt. T. Price, the then OSCE Co-ordinator for Economy and Environment and by Mr. Fehrmann, Vice-President Siemens AG.
